Modify Standing Order

Loan Performer allows you to modify previously set standing orders. You can decide to levy charges or penalty for the amendment and this can be entered manually or set at System->Configuration->Savings->Savings Accounts Settings.

How to enter a Modify Standing Orders

To modify a standing order, you go to Savings->Standing Orders->Modify Standing Orders. A screen will appear looking as follows:

• Choose:Click on this button to select the standing order that you want to modify.
• Savings Account: This field will automatically be refreshed with the savings account for the client whose standing order has been selected for modification. This section will appear read only.  
• Date: The date field will automatically be refreshed with the original order date.
• Client Code: In this field, the client code will automatically be displayed for the selected standing order.
• Client Name: This field will automatically display the selected client name.
• ST/ Order No: Here you enter the new or modify the standing order number.
• From ... to .......: In the date fields modify the period range over which the standing order will be executed.
• Debit: Here you can modify the amount to be transferred to the beneficiary and enter the new value.
• Cycle: Loan Performer allows you to modify the standing order for regular periods. There are two options
  1. Day on the month; where the intervals can be half monthly/monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly/four-monthly/six-monthly/annual
  2. Day of the week; where the interval can be weekly/bi-weekly/tri-weekly/four -weekly.
• Repeat: Loan Performer gives you the flexibility of determining how often the standing order should be executed in a given period of time. There are several repeat intervals depending on the cycle selected above. You change the one that is in line with the standing order instructions.
• Execution charges: In this field enter or alter the charges associated with the execution of the standing order. You can set up these charges at System->Configuration->Savings->\Savings Accounts Settings and then the charges will automatically show up in this field otherwise you can also manually alter them.
• Beneficiary: Loan Performer does not permit you to alter the information details of the receiving clients.
• Amendment Charges: In this field enter or alter the charges associated with the amendment of the standing order. You can set up these charges at System->Configuration->Savings->Savings Accounts Settings. and then the charges will automatically show up in this field. You can also manually enter or alter these charges. This will be the charge to the client whenever a standing order is modified.
• The system will automatically calculate and add VAT to the charges to give a VAT inclusive figure. The VAT associated with Standing orders can be set at System->Configuration->Savings->Savings Accounts Settings.

Click the Save command button to save the standing order modification or the Close command button to exit the menu.
